How to post a question

(This is slightly odd – we are working on a better solution!)

1. Under the heading “Leave Reply” put in your name and email address (your email address wont be published)

2. In the “Comments” box. Ask your question. Easy ones are much preferred!

3. Click on “Post Comment”

4. Your question may not appear immediately as it needs to be approved. This is necessary to protect against idiot spammers

5. We will try to answer your question as soon as possible. This could be anything from 2 minutes to 24 hours depending on the volume of questions and the time of day

How much should I expect to pay for a 4 star hotel in London in September? I want something fairly close to the West End

If we take 13 Sept as an example, prices appear to start from around £140 for a hotel that http://www.booking.com would describe as being “very good”. Always compare prices on different websites and on the hotel’s own website

Hi. We have two days in the great city of Naples this summer. Naples i know about – but further afield there is so much choice I’m stuck as to what are the truly best places? Like Pompay or Capri? What you think if it was you?

There is so much around Naples to see it all would take way more than two days. Have a look at (in no particular order) Pompeii, Herculaneum, Sorrento, Capri, and the Amalfi Coast. I’m assuming that you are going to be in Naples for one day and will then venture further afield on the second day. If it was me and I hadn’t visited any of them before I think I would go for Herculaneum, followed by a drive along the staggeringly beautiful Amalfi Coast and up to Ravello
